Ah yes, a direct painting without sketches and all those tedious stuff.
But such method always tends to end in simple presentation since its was done by pure instinct and how our brain usually calculate in the most simple and quickest manner. As of such, the artist emotion, personalities and skills would become more apparent in his or her work and it would be well displayed on the canvas.
Ah, sorry for long comment and the nonsense babbling, but I was filled with some sort of something when I look at this artwork, something that I couldn't explain with my limited vocabulary and poor English.
A very good artwork, as always, and I personally love this the most. Keep up the good job girl!
I love how certain aspects of this picture 'pops' out *O* Beautiful! The girl is very very beautiful! I love her lips. And her eyes. I like how you gave her those red lashes too. Very, stylish. And the detailed lace work and the ring that matches her collar.... HHNNNNGG!
Both versions are actually very mysterious. Sure, the 'colorless' version has some eeriness to it, no doubt, but this one does too. It's just a lot more subtle. You should do art for Cthulhu or games of a similar, creepy nature. You'd make a killing. ^^ Because this piece has a dark...mysterious...romanticism about it that I not only adore, but would also really fit some of the roleplaying games that are popular now.
